I used to say I would do just about the same thing

when my daughter started dating,

however,

I suppose it would depend on what type of personality

my daughter has.

If she’s one of those, runs to her room

& starts crying hysterically while screaming

she hates her life,

type of teenage girls…

then…

I may not do this

because it may really mess with her.

If she’s chill/calm/relaxed

and has a great sense of humor

and knows the purpose of me doing such a thing

then

I’d definitely do it

to test the character of the person.

I may also hire somebody to bump into them

in the course of their night out

and to kinda nudge a quarrel to ensue

just to see how he would handle the situation.

But yeah.
